It is with great sadness that the American Society of Rio de Janeiro conveys the news that Gerry Goldstein, our friend, colleague and mainstay of Rio's American community for as long as most of us can remember, has died. The funeral was held on November 21st. To Gerry's family and friends: “Ha'makom yenahem etkhem betokh she'ar avelei Tziyonvi' Yerushalayim.” (May God console you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem).
