FIGHT FOR PEACE IS RECRUITING A BRAND AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER TO JOIN ITS GLOBAL TEAM BASED IN RIO DE JANEIRO.

Fight for Peace is an international NGO which operates in Brazil and the UK and has a presence in over 26 countries via an international training programme. Fight for Peace uses boxing and martial arts combined with personal development and education to realise the potential of young people living in communities affected by crime and violence.

The organisation currently has an opportunity for an experienced Brand and Marketing professional to join its global team in Rio de Janeiro. The Brand and Comms Manager will work closely with the Group Director to refine, develop and manage the organisation’s global brand positioning and communications strategy, manage key partners and license contracts, and successfully build the organisation’s public and targeted profile to secure new strategic and commercial partners.

The successful candidate must have at least 7 years experience in brand management and communications; experience working in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment; strategic leadership skills with the ability to drive both short and long-term brand growth; critical thinking and problem solving skills; excellent communications skills with extensive knowledge of the full marketing and communications mix.

Applicants must be native English speakers and ideally already living in Brazil. Ability to speak Portuguese is a bonus, but not essential, although a willingness to learn the language is. Please send CVs and requests for more details to fernanda.duarte@lutapelapaz.org.
