Rio’s Fábrica da Bhering Hosts Open Door Event on August 1st

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Antiga Fábrica da Bhering located in Santo Cristo will host the monthy “Circuito Fechado” (“Internal Circuit”) this Saturday, August 1st. Running from 12PM to 8PM, the event will once again feature the designers, artists and artisans currently located and working within the repurposed Rio de Janeiro factory building, opening their doors to the public and welcoming them in for behind the scenes views of their workspaces.

The Antiga Fábrica da Bhering, often referred to simply as Fábrica da Bhering, is a multi-story building that occupies an area over 20,000 square meters. It was originally built in 1934 as a factory for Bhering chocolates but due to logistics problems, the company later moved their operations to the state of Minas Gerais.

Now home to many talented Rio de Janeiro creatives, the current occupants of the former factory include fashion designers, artists, craftspeople and many from the gastronomic industry.

During the “Circuito Fechado” event they will open their shops and offices giving the public a special view of their world. Additionally there will be fifteen workshops during the day.

Brands and artists participating in this edition of “Circuito Fechado” include Antonio Schubert, Luciano Oliveira and Patricia Portela, Atelier de aerografia Claudia Fróes, Atelier do Terraço, Belchior Brechó, Brauni, Café da Fábrica, Comparsaria Sapataria, Fécula, Garimpo Contemporâneo, Libat Arts / André de Castro, Livraria da Fábrica, Moccato, Trapiche Carioca, umauma and Velt.

Entry to the event is free.
