Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – If you are looking for a roda de samba, Pedra do Sal is considered to be one of the best anywhere in the city. A regular Monday night happening, it has been taking place for years. A variety of percussionists, musicians, dancers, samba lovers and all-round party goers flock to the outdoor party weekly.
Located at Largo João da Baiana in Centro, which a huge, smooth rock, the area becomes a makeshift dancefloor with veterans and newcomers alike dancing the night away as the event progresses.
