Stand Up Comedy (Copacabana)
Improbable Comedy’s stand-up comedy nights are back with a new day and location. Now taking place on Mondays every two weeks at Bottle’s Bar in Copacabana, the events are a great night out and full of laughter and fun for all.

Rio Moonday Boat Party (Glória)
It’s time to dance and glow in the moonlight as the Rio Moonday Boat Party presents a special neon edition. The boat will begin boarding at 11PM and feature welcome shots for guys until 11:30PM and an open bar of vodka, beer and soft drinks for girls until 12AM, when the boat departs. After leaving the marina, the boat will make its way around Guanabara Bay for four hours with DJs Guga Fernandez and Angola spinning the best of world music, funk, house and reggaeton.

Lunes Sessions @ Leviano (Lapa)
On Monday nights in May, the Leviano bar in Lapa is presenting Lunes Sessions with band Clandestinos. Led by singer-songwriter Udi Fagundes, they will perform their covers of works by Manu Chao, Chico Science, Jorge Benjor, and Bob Marley as well as original arrangements of the best of reggae, dub, ska, and hip-hop. Additionally during the weekly event, Radiola Visto Rasta is playing the best of reggae roots and dub.

Roda de Samba Pedra do Sal (Gamboa)
Weather permitting, classic roda de samba with an emphasis on the music’s African roots is back at Pedra do Sal tonight. The weekly event is considered by many to be one of the most authentic rodas de samba in the city.

Roda de Samba with Rixxa (Lapa)
For more dancing and singing, head to Lapa’s Carioca da Gema tonight. The venue will come alive at 7:30PM with singer Marcos Novatto starting off the night and at 9:30PM it’s time for three hours of live samba provided by vocalist Rixxa accompanied by brilliant percussionists and members of the Zeca Pagodinho band.
