Johnny Hooker (Lapa) – Tonight, singer Johnny Hooker will be starring at Circo Voador, at 10PM.
Hooker will be presenting to the Carioca audience his latest work, “Coração”. The show will also include the special participation of funk singer MC Carol.

Back2Black (Centro) – The back music is about to invade Theatro Municipal with the Back2Black Festival.
From 9PM to 2PM, talented artists like Letieres Leite, Gilberto Gil, Mariene de Castro, Sona Jobarteh (Gambia), Mario Lucio (Cape Verde) and Orkestra Rumpilezz will be gracing the stage with the best from the African and Afro Brazilian rhythms.

Forró de Bamba (Lapa) – It’s time for some live forró music at Clube dos Democráticos, in Lapa.
The Moyseis Marques Trio will be make everyone dance until the late hours with traditional forró. DJ Messias will spin Brazilian music during the intervals.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.
