Samba do Trabalhador (The Worker’s Samba) was created in 2005 and is specially dedicated to the workers, who go straight to the roda de samba when they get off the clock.

Tangos Argentinos (Botafogo) – Celebrating the International Day of Tango, Aliança Francesa, in Botafogo, hosts the company Tangos Argentinos tonight.

Dancers Marcelo Pareja and Alejandra Gonzalez, and musicians from the Trio Farol – composed of bandoneon, violin and double bass – promise to fascinate the audience with the classics by Carlos Gardel and other great names from the Argentinian tango.
