Macca ’76 @ Botto Bar (Botafogo) – From Merseyside to the Maracanã, from the Cavern Club to Copacabana, it’s not quite Paul MacCartney, but for his 76th birthday, Botto Bar are putting on the next best thing.
Os Beatlemaníacos (The Beatlemaniacs) will be preparing a special repertoire of 76 years of Sir Paul McCartney’s solo career, plus his work with Wings and of course The Beatles.
The band consists of Pedro Dias on bass, Mario Vitor on keyboard and guitar, Luiz Lopez on keyboard and guitar, and Carol Lima on drums.
This will be a must see and a great way to start the week and perhaps even celebrate a victorious English start to the World Cup? Or commiserate all the same!

PARTY:
The Glow Party! (Copacabana) – It’s back! the party brought to you by Rio Sessions which promises the biggest Monday night.
There will be free caipirinhas until midnight, random tequila shots, promotions on beers and vodka energy drinks.
If you’re looking for an upscale, big club experience, this seems to be the ticket. The club will be immersed in black light and they will be handing out everything from glow paint to glow bracelets and much more.
This night there will be live samba, then DJ Caue Campean will be spinning some house, hiphop and reggaeton, followed by DJ Dluccio who will spin pop, trap and deep house.
Two DJs, two floors, and only one block away from Copacabana beach.

Chico Chico e João Mantuano @ Ganjah (Lapa) – Chico Chico and João Mantuano have been accumulating songs and life experiences in their solo projects, in duos, trios and with other bands.
Through music they will tell the world their points of view, life experiences, stories and much more, and it can be through rock, samba, folk, blues, frevo, forró, or even a baião. This promises to be an eclectic and vibrant musical event!
It is never certain what we will hear among their many compositions, the only certainty is this will be a great musical encounter. One for the musically curious.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 6PM and finishes at 8PM.
