The Texan singer and composer is known for her R&B, neo soul and hip hop music, having won the Grammy Award for the album “Baduizm” in 1997.
New Yorker singer and Rio resident Alma Thomas, along with band Hermenegildo 59, will be in charge of the live music, while DJs Nepal and Gustavo MM will run the dance floor in the intervals.

Three Black American women who have made Rio their home will produce the second Soul Brunch in the historic area of Pedra do Sal in Centro. The New Mariuzinn Copacabana will host the We Love RJ! party again tonight.
