We have the top three picks for this Saturday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

DRINKS:
Neon Carioca @ Bella Vista (Glória) – This Saturday Bella Vista opens its bar from 11PM-3AM!

This is a gorgeous space, right in front of the sea and next to the Airport Santos Dumont.

Everyone gets neon gifts, neon bracelets, neon paint, lighting sets and lots more fun props!

There will be live sertanejo and pagode plus DJs spinning the best house and Carioca funk

The open bar includes Antartica beer, Smirnoff vodka, energy drinks, soda, water and Catuaba açai. The organizers ensure that the bar will be ‘served with agility and quality.’

Tickets are R$70 for men and R$50 for women. In order to take advantage of this deal, you have to put your name down on the guestlist and enter the party before 11:30PM or before the first 250 people arrive.

PARTY:
Back to Bunker @ Bar do B (Laranjeiras) – Back to Bunker is a great alternative rock night out. DJ Buba brings back the biggest tunes and guest of the last three years (2003-2006) in which Paranoid Android was the resident party of the acclaimed and now extinct Bunker94.

Today they will be celebrating twenty years since the release of Hole’s ‘Celebrity Skin’ and Smashing Pumpkins ‘Adore.’

Early entry for R$10 and you get a paranoid keychain.

DJs will be Buba and Boechat, plus extra special guest, DJ Renato Lima.

The Set List will include all the classic indie, rock and alternative songs from 2003-2006, including Garbage, Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Radiohead, Muse, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, The Hives, New Order, Kaiser Chiefs, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, Blur, Weezer, Interpol, Hot Chip, Keane, Miss Kittin, Prodigy, Smashing Pumpkins, REM, The Smiths, Stone Temple Pilots, The Cranberries, Roxette, Suede, New Order, Siouxie and The Banshees, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey, Hot Chip, among many others …

Tickets are between R$15-R$20 and the night will kick off at around 11PM.

PARTY:
Barzin: Summer Vibes (Ipanema) – Saturday is world pop music day down at Barzin in Ipanema and they are going to be spreading the Carioca spirit of lively music and the good life, all while celebrating summer in the (Brazilian, beach-going) winter!

There will be DJ Haron Dufau, spinning an eclectic set with hip hop, house, reggaeton and funk, plus there will be a live music set yet to be announced.
