LIVE:
Studio Nº7 Maroon 5 Tribute @ Jack Daniel’s Rock Bar (Gávea) – Jack Daniel’s Rock Bar has recently relocated to the Jockey Club in Gávea and they’re putting on many fine events to make themselves known.
This is a free concert by Maroon 5 tribute band, ANIMALS. Just be aware that football shirts, vests and flip flops are prohibited within the Jockey Club.
However, this is sure to be a rocking way to spend Saturday night. This bar has everything you could need, pool tables, table football, excellent cocktails, food trucks and big TVs to watch the football if you come early.

PARTY:
Lagoa Sunset @ Terraço Lagoa (Lagoa) – Terraço Lagoa is known for putting on a good party, and they’re pulling out all the stops for the world cup. Come and see the beautiful sunset over Rio’s Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, and then stay for the party.
They’ve been waiting four years for the world cup to come back and so this party is not going to be one to miss. Organized by Scheeeins and CarnaCopa, who are putting on some of the biggest and best events in Rio right now, this promises to be a highlight of the weekend.
There will be music from Rodrigo Sá, Tucho, Manza Show, Lorenzo Caliento, Gudi and Lucce.

Arnaldo Antunes @ Circo Voador (Lapa) – After announcing his new album in April, the great moment has come to show the world his offspring.
On Saturday, June 16th, Arnaldo Antunes will present live onstage at Circus Voador his 15th solo album, “RSTUVXZ”, or, as the musician himself has called it, ‘Rock Samba TUVXZ’, referencing the two rhythms at work in his music.
Opening for him will be an artist Arnaldo knows very well: Curumin. He knows him well for Curumin was the producer of the new album, and will be showing for the first time his fourth album, ‘Boca’ which was also released to critical acclaim.
This show is one for fans of contemporary and inventive Brazilian music from a modern cult figure.
