Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The The Mercado Mundo Mix (MMMix) event returns to Fundição Progresso in Lapa today from 12PM to 10PM with art exhibitions, independent publications, food trucks, workshops, fashion vendors, and live music.
Singer Lila will kick off the performances at 4PM and singer-songwriter Mateus VK will follow at 6PM. The dance group, Dream Team of Passinho will then headline the night with their performance beginning at 8PM.
Today marks the first of two days of the Mercado Mundo Mix event. All events including the performances are free admission with the exception of several workshops which ask for conscious contributions of R$15 to R$25.

Tonight Brazilian rock band IRA! will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album Vivendo e Não Aprendendo, by performing the album live in its entirety at Circo Voador in Lapa. Wander Wildner will play to open the night.

Tonight the CAVE club in Arpoador will host the first edition of the Brass party. Curated by Rodrigo S of the Wobble parties and Fernando Schlaepfer of the I Hate Mondays parties, the Brass party aims to combine the sounds of Brazil with the best of bass. It’s time again for the best of pop, EDM, hip hop, and funk as the Hit Me party returns to the Fosfobox club in Copacabana. DJs Polly and Ivy will spin pop, EDM, hip hop, and funk in the subsolo (basement) while DJ Julie and guest DJ Sajoão spin the best of pop, indie, and older hits above at the Fosfobar during the night.
