Cinco de Mayo at the Blue Agave (Ipanema) – On this Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) holiday, the biggest party is bound to be at the Mexican bar and restaurant Blue Agave, in Ipanema.
With a festive mix of foreigners and Cariocas, the local favorite will be livin’ la vida loca with tequila, margaritas and all things Mexican, including tasty nachos, tacos and burritos.
The bar opens at Noon and will get heaving by 9PM, and only closes when the party stops tonight.

Guinga convida Thiago Amud & Jean Charnaux (Copacabana) – Tonight, musicians Guinga, Thiago Amug and Jean Charnaux will be gracing the stage of Sala Baden Powell, in Copacabana, at 9PM.
Until 10:30 PM, the musicians will enchant the audiences with a refined repertoire of contemporary music and bossa nova.
