Vou Tocar no Estação Rio (Lapa)
Circo Voador in Lapa will host the final round of Vou Tocar no Estação Rio, a youth musical competeion. Students from Rio de Janeiro and from seven other municipalities have been part of the competition.

It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJ Luca Rios will start the party around 5PM by spinning on the deck and DJs Andressa Fleming, Dri Toscano, and Caio Bucker will follow, spinning inside throughtout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with a live performance following the matches. Tonight the group Samba Di Buteco will play classic samba including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns for his weekly show at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema. The lively performer will present his own compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Djavan, and Jorge Benjor, among others.

Sambombom @ OMG Lounge (Leblon)
On Sunday nights, OMG Lounge in Leblon is hosting the Sambombom party, a lively a roda da samba that is a great way to end your weekend. Promotions include two caipirinhas for R$25.50. Opened in March, the OMG Lounge has been attracting both locals and tourists alike. In addition to offering an intimate atmosphere and new varieties of food and drinks, the venue is hosting events on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
