PARTY:
Festa ELAS @ Terraço Lagoa (Lagoa) – This party is a tribute to all women.

Festa ELAS was born at Rio Carnival, making a lot of history in the process. Now they are returning with another incredible season, this time in the middle of World Cup fever.

With one of the most beautiful views of the city, direct to Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, party-goers will see the sun rise at the end of a super party, great music, and that vibe that only Festa ELAS has.

Doors will open at 9PM, and until 11PM the women will be in a single area of Elas with a premium open bar!

At 11PM, they will unify the event for everyone to enjoy until dawn, dancing to the sound of the best DJs in Rio!

LIVE:
Noites de Romances Russos @ Midrash Centro Cultural (Leblon) – A night of Russian romance with the ‘Associaçao de cultura Russa’ (Association of Russian culture).

This will be an intimate performance of songs from throughout Russian history. Performing will be Russian-born singer Elena Gaissionok, who is also a professor at Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras (House of Arts of Laranjeiras).

She will joined by Thiago Debossan, a self-taught Carioca multi-instrumentalist.

Together they will perform a range of songs from traditional Russian romance songs and ballads right up to music from the Soviet period.

Tickets are R$30 and the evening begins at 8PM.

PARTY:
Baile do Saddam @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – After the last edition with sold out at Fosfobox and the extra successful edition at Bud Basement, Saddam’s monthly night launches its seventh edition at Fosfobox, while the World Cup enjoys a brief reprieve.

Always bringing prominent DJs from the national and international scene, this is a night that promises to keep you dancing until the sun rises.

DJing on the main stage will be Saddam, Tamy, Sany Pitbull, Zedoroque. There will be promotions on Heineken and Catuaba!

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pub Escondido (Copacabana)
Those into the pub atmosphere will also love Pub Escondido, a discrete venue with premium beer labels, modern design and a really cool vibe. The pub offers 24 different beer taps, which includes the house’s draught beer, Escondido Weiss, made of wheat.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is a great place for good Mexican food, drinks and live sports. It also has English-speaking staff and is a popular expat hangout. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.

Yndú Lounge (Leblon)
With chilled out vibes during the week and a selection of top DJs playing shows at the weekends, the newly-opened Yndú Lounge in Ipanema is a great option to kick back. With a selection of drinks and tapas, the bar is quickly becoming one of Leblon’s best watering holes.
