The Love Boat Party @ New Mariuzinn (Copacabana) – The Love Boat Party at Copacabana’s New Mariuzinn is one of the craziest parties in Rio and will surely prepare anyone for the weekend.

The preview party starts at 10PM at the club, where there is an open bar between 11PM and midnight, as well as free mini pizzas which will be served every hour to keep everyone well-fed. Party-goers will be able to dance to a range of tunes from house and reggaeton to cumbia, funk carioca and hip hop.

Ticket prices start from R$80 for men and R$60 for women and include the transfer from the Copacabana venue to the Marina da Glória, where the boat party begins.

Arriving at Marina da Glória, a boat with capacity for 120 people will be turned into a floating nightclub where anything can happen! This is a party for the adventurous.

Beatrice Mason Sings Nick Drake @ Blue Note Rio (Lagoa) – Carioca singer Beatrice Mason will be gracing the stage tonight to launch her third album, ‘NICK,’ a collection of covers from the cult British folk singer, Nick Drake.

Expect soulful renditions of some classic Nick Drake songs, such as ‘Time Has Told Me,’ ‘River Man,’ ‘Northern Sky’ and ‘Pink Moon.’

After taking her second album around the world, Beatrice Mason returned to the studio and her hometown of Rio de Janeiro in order to explore the life and legacy of one of her favorite artists.

Nick Drake was not well-known in his short lifetime, but since his tragic death his songs have been rediscovered and adored by fans the world over.

Beatrice Mason will be accompanied by Pedro Braga and João Arruda on guitars, and the show should start at around 10:30PM. Tickets are from R$40-R$80.

PARTY:
Classy & John Colt @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – The Classy party has been going now since mid-2017. They’ve made a lot of noise and won many hearts in with 34 outings, always bringing a strong line up and big tunes.

This is a party for hip-hop lovers. Two of the country’s hottest DJs (DJ King and DJ CIA) will be going head-to-head live, spinning classic hip-hop, bass, trap, dub, dancehall and world groove.

There will also be support from Vinelli, Mayah and Gabi Oliveira. While at the Fosfobar will be Dirty Two, Muca and Art Luv.

Tickets are between R$10-R$30 and the party starts at 11PM
