60 Anos de Bossa @ Beco das Garrafas (Copacabana) – Throughout the year 2018, great artists are paying tribute to the 60th birthday of the most famous Brazilian musical movement in the world: bossa nova, born in Beco das Garrafas, Copacabana.
Under the auspices of Amanda Bravo, singer, partner and artistic director of Beco, there will be about 30 monthly shows with great artists from the Brazilian scene and new talents in the spotlight.
Tonight, Flávia Dantas, accompanied by the guitar of Bernardo Dantas, will play bossa nova songs with a repertoire in honor of Nara Leão and João Gilberto, and the songs of Tom Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Carlos Lyra, Roberto Menescal, João Donato, Chico Buarque, Dorival Caymmi, among others will also be present in this special show.
The show starts at 9PM and tickets are from R$40.

Dobradinha e Farinelli’s B’Day Party! @ Fosfobox (Copacabana) – This is sure to be another great night at Copacabana’s legendary Fosfobox.
Festa Dobradinha is all about pizza, pop and rock. This is a party that is all about fun and enjoyment, where the DJs play the songs you want to hear in order to dance until the sun rises.
This edition is special as it’s one of the host’s, Paulinho’s, birthday! There will be double doses of jagermeister plus deals on caipirinhas and heinekens. DJ sets will come courtesy of Tropikaos and IH8Flash.

Edgar Duvivier @ Manouche (Jardim Botânico) – The saxophonist Edgar Duvivier is the headliner at Manouche, the newly opened intimate club of Casa Camolese.
In his repertoire will be the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt, plus Sidney Béchet, Pixinguinha, Michel Legrand, Chico Buarque, Piazzola, Cartola, Jacob of the Bandolim and some original compositions.
Clément Courtois (guitar), Nacho Mena (drums), João Felippe (cavaquinho) and Gustavo Gastão (piano and bass) will be accompanying him in what is sure to be a real treat for jazz aficionados.
