feelleblonTuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Billed by organizers, as “The Best Tuesday Party,” the weekly Feel Leblon event is back at Club Sette in Leblon tonight.

The venue features a bar and lounge on the first floor and a dancefloor and club area on the second floor. Spinning the best of world music, funk, trap, reggaeton, house, pop and hip hop upstairs tonight will be DJs Guga Fernandez, and Matheus.

Additionally during the night, promotions include free caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beer all night long.

This party is living up to its promise as a great Tuesday night party as it continues to weekly bring together travellers, exchange students and locals for a great night out.

Antonio Panda Gianfratti (Botafogo)
Tonight and tomorrow, Audio Rebel in Botafogo will host live performances and workshops held by drummer Antonio Panda Gianfratti. Gianfratti was a member of bands including the Beatnicks and Jovem Guarda and has performed with musicians including Simonal, Roberto Carlos, William Parker, John Edwards, Phil Minton, Marcio Mattos, Hans Koch, and Sabu Toyozumi among others. Tonight the workshop will begin at 6PM and Gianfratti will perform a solo show beginning at 8:30 PM.

Matriz Live Sessions with Frostbite, Paradoxo Delta andGrant Ley (Botafogo)
Spotlighting up-and-coming rock bands and musicians while adding some life to typically less than lively Tuesday nights in Rio, the ‘Matriz Live Sessions,’ event is back at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo. Tonight the bands Frostbite, Paradoxo Delta and special guest Grant Ley will perform live and promotions will include two-for-one caipirinhas all night.

Pub Crawl Ipanema (Ipanema)
Every Tuesday night Bem Brasil Entretenimento is presenting the Pub Crawl Ipanema, a tour of Rio Nightlife. Beginning at Belmonte Bar in Ipanema (Rua Teixeira de Melo, 53) at 7:20 PM, the tour include stops at three bars and ends at the club, 00 (Zero Zero in Gávea), which hosts the Bem Brasil -The Rio Hostels Party on Tuesdays (see below.) The entry fee to 00 is included with the Pub Crawl price and there will be free caipirinhas in the club until 12AM as part of the party. Additionally, there will be three free shots and a drinking game, during the tour. No booking prior to the tour is needed. The tour happens rain or shine. Attendees must be eighteen and over, so make sure to bring a photo ID.

The Bem Brasil party is back at 00 (Zero Zero) tonight with live music and DJs Haron Dufau and JR Mahr will spin the best of Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, kuduro, and hip hop throughout the night. Additionally promotions will include free caipirinhas from 11PM until midnight.

Feel Leblon (Leblon)
The weekly Feel Leblon party is back at Sette Leblon bar and lounge tonight. Promotions include all you can drink caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beers for R$15 all night long. During the event, DJs Jonatan K and Matheus will spin the best of electronica, trap, house, indie rock, funk Carioca, hip hop, reggeation, and samba. Entry fee is free for women until 12:30 AM.

Tonight singer Késia Estácio will perform live at Carioca da Gema in Lapa. Estácio cites influences including Elis Regina, Djavan, and Chico Buarque, among others, and tonight she will perform the best of MPB, samba, soul and pop. During the show she will be accompanied by bassist Rodrigo Villa, guitarist Gabriel de Aquino, percussionist Thiago da Serrinha, and drummer André Manhães.

Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English Language Exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and educational night and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food. Following the Language Exchange tonight, there will be a live session of traditional Irish music.
