Baile do Zen @ Barzin Rio (Ipanema) – This Wednesday, enjoy Baile do Zen, with lots of samba-rock covers of Jorge Benjor, Seu Jorge and Tim Maia to name but a few!
Baile do Zen mixes the traditional samba-rock of the seventies with foreign rhythms such as soul, reggae and afrobeat!
In the repertoire will also be a lot of rocking versions of great Brazilians bands like O Rappa, Charlie Brown and Natiruts.
To get you in the mood for a great show there will be a DJ set by Dj Cyro, who will play great hits from Brazil and worldwide. Expect plenty of pop, reggaeton, Brazilian music and funk.
The show starts at 10PM and tickets are between R$20-R$30.

Karaoke @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – The Karaoke Winter Season has arrived at Casa da Matriz!
Free admission until 11pm with your name on the list. Then after that it’s R$10 with your name on the list or R$20 without your name on the list.
Vitor Medina is bringing his Karaokezin with its extensive songlist filled with hits.
This is set to be a great night out at Casa da Matriz, one of the best alternative nightclubs in Rio, with two dance floors, two bars, pinball machines, crazy decoration and unconventional parties.

JAZZ no Beco @ Bar do Nanam (Centro) – Every Wednesday is Jazz night next to Tiradentes square in central Rio. Featuring drummer Guga Pellicciotti with several guest musicians every night, this is the only open-air Jazz in Rio that continues until dawn!
The bar opens at 8PM, with DJs starting at 9PM, then the live jazz starts at 11PM until around 3AM when the DJs are invited back to continue the party until dawn!
As always, this event is free; however Bar do Nanam do ask that people patronise the nearby bars who are the main supporters of this night and contribute to the musicians hat if you can!

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7PM and 9PM the restaurant will serve a happy hour with two for one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with either lime, strawberry or passionfruit as well as additional herbs added in for a taste explosion.
