Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Every Wednesday night the Lapa Irish Pub is hosting the RockOKÊ (Karaokê Rock) party.
With a large selection of songs to choose from, this is a great place to go if you feel like belting out some classic rock or metal tunes.
The Lapa Irish Pub is well known for its wide variety of imported beers, including great selections from Ireland. Located beside the famous Arcos da Lapa (Lapa Arches), the pub is also known for its great atmosphere and lively and friendly clientele.

Outro Criticos launch party with Cadu Tenorio and Hugo Linns (Botafogo)
Tonight Audio Rebel in Botafogo will host a launch party for the eighth edition of the Pernambuco magazine, Outro Criticos (Other Critics). The event will start at 7:30PM with a debate/discussion about musical criticism and independent production. Speakers will include Fred Coelho of PUC-Rio; Paulo da Costa of UFRJ-Polivox; and Carlos Gomes, a writer for Outros Crítcos. Following the debate, Cadu Tenorio and Hugo Linns will perform live beginning at 9PM. Cadu Tenorio is an electronic and experimental musician and Hugo Linns is a guitarist, bassist, composer and producer.

Para Todos with Hell Oh and Pessoal da Nasa (Lapa)
Tonight Teatro Odisséia presents a new edition of the Para Todos event with the bands Hell Oh and Pessoal da Nasa performing live. Additionally, DJ Renato Lima will spin during the event. Promotions include two-for-one specials on caipirinhas and mojitos until 11PM.
