Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Noon is on today at 00 (Zero Zero) for their summer opening fiesta. As the year comes to an end, this party is looking towards the future as they hold the first summer edition. As usual, the Noon squad holds nothing back, booking top talent from across the globe. Today will feature the works of Elekfantz, from Kompact Records, Brazilian superproducer Wehbba and local hero DJ Nepal.

Last summer, a stunning single called “Wish” (FM X / Wish 001) made quite a splash in the international techno community. It was released on a limited edition picture vinyl only and delighted listeners worldwide with its intimate melodies, lush harmonies and organic undertones. Composed in memory of Muddy Waters, the bluesman that electrified the Delta blues, it came from the hands of Elekfantz, a project completely unknown to most floor hounds. Check out the revelation that is Elekfantz today at Zero Zero.
