One of the most important rock bands of the post-punk era, they found commerical and critical success through hits that include, “The Killing Moon,” and “Lips Like Sugar,” and built up a worldwide cult following during their over thirty-five years in the industry.
The band, fronted by Ian McCulloch with Will Sergeant on guitar, arrives in the city as part of their ongoing world tour for their twelfth studio album entitled, Meteorites.
Fundição Progresso doors will open at 9:30PM and the show is scheduled to begin at 11:30PM.

The premiere edition of Gringo Halloween ends tonight at the Gringo Café with a showing of “Addams Family Values” at 7PM, followed by “Nightmare on Elm Street” at 9PM. Tonight Copacabana’s Fosfobox presents a special Halloween weekend edition of the Wake Up! party. DJs Schlaepfer, FL3SH Disco, Beto Artista and more will spin pop, indie and hits for the Wake UP! party in the subsolo (basement), while above at the Fosfobar, it’s all about emo and goth as DJs Cassius Melo and Jeff Oliveria spin.There will also be shots of Jäger Daniel’s (Jack Daniel’s with Jägermeister) distributed throughtout the night.
