Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The fashion and art event, “O Mercado” (The Market) continues today with the second day of its special “Maio das Sereias” (Sirens of May) edition in honor of mothers and brides.
Held in the Salão Nobre do Fluminense in Laranjeiras from 2PM to 9PM, this edition features over one hundred brands offering great new styles of fashion, accessories, shoes, interior decorations, art and more.
Additionally during the event, resident DJ Galalau will spin and special guest Graziella Ximenes will perform the best of pop live. This weekend marks the 28th edition of the market.
Backyard Sessions (Lapa)
Tonight Teatro Odisséia in Lapa will host the second edition of the Backyard Sessions. Bands Periferia S.A., Orgasmo de Porco, Lo-Fi Punkrock, and Leite Paterno will perform live and DJ Thiago Tuão will spin during the night.

The Duo party is back tonight in Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJ Bruna Campos will start off the event at 5PM by spinning outside on the deck and DJs Nath Carreiro, Rafael Calvente, and Tatah Toscano will follow, spinning inside throughout the night until 5AM Monday morning.

Ballet 2 Passistas 1 Year Anniversary (Lapa)
Tonight Lapa’s Leviano bar will celebrate one year of the Ballet 2 Passistas events. Joining the party will be Queila Mara, Cris Alves, Tuane Rocha, Carlinho Salgueiro, Egili Oliveira, Bianca Monteiro, Paulinha Reis, Paloma Lopes and Wilson Neto, the 2015 Rei Momo do Carnaval (King of Carnival).
