Sunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Brazilian singer-songwriter Rodrigo Amarante will perform live tonight at Circo Voador in Lapa.
Born Rodrigo Amarante de Castro Neves in 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, the musician is well known as a former songwriter for the band Los Hermanos and for his collaborations with musicians including: Los Hermanos, Gilberto Gil, Tom Zé, Devendra Banhart, Maria Monte, Adrianna Calcanhotto and Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, whom he worked with on the project, Little Joy.
