The quiz events are fashioned after Irish and English pub and bar social events and feature teams of two to six players competing to answer the most questions about Brazilian and International general knowledge.
It will be a great night of fun and socializing with two hours of forty bilingual questions and the winning team earning a round of free drinks.
Additionally, promotions during the night will include three tacos for R$15 and entry is only R$5.

The Bem Brasil party returns to 00 tonight with DJ Haron Dufau spinning the best of Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, kuduro, and hip hop. Promotions include free caipirinhas from 11PM until midnight. This weekly party is always a great opportunity to mix and mingle with visitors to the city, locals and expats in one of the chicest venues in Rio.

Feel Leblon (Leblon)
The weekly Feel Leblon party is back at Sette Leblon bar and lounge tonight. Promotions include all you can drink caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beers for R$15 all night long. DJs Guga Fernandez, Matheus, and Dani Fontenelle will spin the best of world music, funk, trap, reggaeton, house, pop and hip-hop.

Augusto Martins returns to Carioca da Gema tonight to again present the SPB – Brazilian Popular Samba. Created by Martins and journalist Braulio Neto, the SPB project features live performances of great songs with syncopated two by four (2/4) rhythms, with Augusto Martins providing vocals accompanied by seven-string guitars, tambourines, and other instruments.

Every Tuesday the Leviano bar in Lapa is opening its doors for free jazz nights. Guga Pellicciotti and his trio will perform tonight and Rádio Rua will spin during breaks.

At 7:30PM, singer-songwriter and guitarist Ana Costa will start off the night at Rio Scenarium by performing the best of samba and works from her third album. Singer Darcy Maravilha da Portela will follow at 10:30PM with the best of samba and sambas enredos.

Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English Language Exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and educational night and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food. Additionally, Helo Tenorio & Convida Trio will perform the best of jazz tonight following the language exchange.

With classic pub games like darts and pool, Ipanema’s Shenanigan’s is always a great spot to visit. Happy Hour is dose dupla (two for one) on Mondays through Fridays 6PM-8PM. Additionally, tacos are half-price on Tuesdays. This is another great place to watch live streaming sports.
