Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The popular Bem Brasil – Rio Hostels Party returns to Gávea’s 00 (Zero Zero) tonight. Bringing together travelers, long-term foreign residents and Rio natives, this weekly party is always a great opportunity to mix and mingle.
Taking place in one of the chicest venues in Rio, there will be free caipirinhas from 11PM until midnight and for entertainment, DJs Bruno Lima and Ricardo Martins will spin the best of latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, kuduro and hip-hop. Additionally during the event, the group Bom Batuque will perform live samba.

Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English language exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner.
