Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight begining at 11PM, Lagoa’s Praia Club presents a very special edition of the Quartas party with American rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em performing live.
Soulja Boy Tell Em, also known simply as Soulja Boy, is best known for his 2007 hit “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” and also for the singles; “Kiss Me thru the Phone” and “Turn My Swag On.”
The rapper arrives tonight to play in Rio for the first time ever. The stop is part of his ongoing We Made It Tour in support of his latest album entitled King Soulja 3.
São Paulo native MC Guimê will open for Soulja Boy, brining the best of funk ostentação (funk ostentation), a style of funk that originated in São Paulo in 2008, to the Rio stage
To date, Guimê has released four singles; “Plaquê de 100“, “Pais do Futebol“, “Tá Patrão” and “Na Pista eu Arraso.”
DJs Tucho, Wally and Lucas Lins will also be on hand during the event to spin the best of hip-hop, rap and trap.
This is a must attend event for fans of rap, trap and funk.

DJ Marcelinho Da Lua will spin at 7PM to start the night and Gabriel Muzak will follow at 9PM before BNegão & Seletores de Frequência take over the stage at 10PM. The event takes place in partnership with Todos Pelos Educadores! (All For Educators!) and the artists and producers will donate proceeds towards this cause.
