KaWednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight it’s time for eight hours of singing as Karaokê Indie returns to Casa da Matriz in Botafogo.

Promotions include two for one on five drinks: caipirinha, caipivodka, Hi-Fi, Cuba Livre and Mojito. Additionally, free shots of Chuva cachaça will be distributed throughout the night.

With thousands of songs on their menus, there is always something to sing about during this weekly party.

Zfelip Hip Hop Advance and Zarthus (Botafogo)
Tonight at Audio Rebel in Botafogo, Quintavant Qtv will present Zfelip Hip Hop Advance and Zarthus. Zfelip Hip Hop advance is a hip-hop project created by Zé Felipe, the former bassist of Zumbi do Mato and Zarthus is singer, guitarist, and banjoist Andrei Müller.

Lu Fogaça and Trio (Gamboa)
Tonight at Trapiche Gamboa it’s time for a roda de samba with Brazilian singer-songwriter Lu Fogaça and his trio. The group will blend modern music with samba, forró and MPB. They are well known for their reinterpretations of works by João Nogueira, João Bosco, Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque and Luiz Melodia, among others.

Tonight singer Marcele Motta will start the night at Centro’s Rio Scenarium at 7:30PM with the best of classic samba and MPB. The group Mulato Velho will follow at 10:30PM with a diverse blend of sounds that mix the rhythms of the hills of Rio with the vibes of the city’s suburbs.
