The karaoke menus for the weekly party include over seven thousand songs, featuring everything from pop to rock to, of course, indie. No matter your tastes, you will find something to sing about.
During the night, the second floor of Casa da Matriz will also host the California 021 party with DJs Alexandre Brandão and Ricardo Abrahin throwing down all things Californan from genres including surf rock, punk, hardcore, hard rock, indie, nu metal and alternative rock.
It’s good to arrive early. Entry is only R$30 if you put your name on their friend’s list and get there before 9PM.

DJ Haron Dufau and guests will spin the best of hip-hop and house tonight at Copacabana’s Fosfobox as part of the weekly In.Box party. Arrive early for unlimited caipifrutas from 10PM-12AM and stay for two for one beers in one of Rio’s most popular clubs.

Karaoke Indie Special Batidão (Botafogo)
It’s time again to sing your heart out at Karaokê Indie night in Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz. Five drinks will be double dose (two for one) to help you loosen up to belt out your favorite tunes. Additionally, twenty liters of Oswaldo batida (a type of cocktail usually made with cachaça) will be distributed throughout the night. DJs Alexandre Brandão and Ricardo Abrahin will spin as part of the California 021 party on the second floor.

Marina Iris and New Talents of 2014 (Lapa)
The New Talents of 2014 competition will start things off tonight at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema at 8PM. Then, beginning at 10PM, Marina Iris, a finalist from the 3rd edition of the New Old Samba competition, will perform her reinterpretations of the works of Paulo Vanzolini, João Nogueira, Cartola, Dorival Caymmi, Nássara, Pedro Caetano, and Mario Lago, among others.

Nando do Cavaco and Sambistas a Bordo and Marco de Pinna (Centro)
At 7:30PM the group Marco de Pinna starts things of at Rio Scenarium with their reinterpretations of the works of Aníbal Augusto Sardinha, Tom Jobim, Waldir Azevedo, Marco de Pinna, and Sergio de Pinna, among others. At 10:30 PM Nando do Cavaco and Sambistas a Bordo will perform the best chorinhos and sambas by composers including Noel, Martinho, Benito, Roberto Ribeiro, Clara Nunes, Dorival, and Moreira da Silva, among others
