Gloria Becker Reifschneider Dies

The American Society of Rio de Janeiro reports, with great sadness, the passing of one of its most illustrious members, Gloria Becker Reifschneider. Gloria, a veteran of both World War II and the Vietnam War, served on our Board of Governors for many years, and was actively involved in countless community projects. In 1991 she received the Society’s highest prize, the Ralph Greenberg Award, established to honor the outstanding achievements of a resident American who has unselfishly contributed time and effort for the good of the community. We offer our sincere condolences to her husband, Contra-Almirante (ref.) Telmo . . .
