We published our first Print edition in January 2011, almost two years after The Rio Times launched with a Weekly Online edition in 2009. We started with a printed Monthly issue of 5,000 copies, and then with the December 2011 issue – we increased to 10,000 copies.
The new May 2012 issue is now available, with approximately eighty percent of the copies delivered to top hotels in Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, as well as Consulates and Chambers of Commerce, major hostels, stores, restaurants and other locations where expats and travelers are known to frequent (see partial list below).
The remaining twenty percent are distributed to schools (i.e. The British School, The American School and various language schools), associations like The American Society and The British & Commonwealth Society of Rio de Janeiro, as well as other Advertisers and strategic partners.
If you like the publication, and want to help us grow, make sure to suggest businesses advertise with us. Also of course, keep up with our daily and weekly news Online.
