After Four Months of Increase, Brazilian Industry Prices Drop 1.14 Percent in June

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Brazilian industry has recorded an overall 1.14 percent price drop in June of this year, in relation to May. The year to date is at 2.76 percent.

Over the last twelve months, the general price variations stood at 3.75 percent.

The Producer Price Index (IPP) figures were released on Wednesday, July 31st, by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
