Armed Forces Are Brazil Government’s Anchor, Says Bolsonaro

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - President Jair Bolsonaro said yesterday, December 9th, that the Armed Forces are "the great anchor of his government" and that Brazil has a government that "values the family, worships God and recognizes the value of its military".

Bolsonaro joined the Armed Forces General Officers for lunch at the Brasília Naval Club.

During his speech, he emphasized the approval in Congress of the bill restructuring the career and changing the military's pension system and said that the text will be enacted in the coming days. The government expects a surplus of R$2.29 billion . . .
