Bolsonaro Looks to Include Other Countries In Currency Union With Argentina

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Jair Bolsonaro (PSL), said on Friday, June 7th, that the project of a single currency between Brazil and Argentina "is like a marriage". "I see we have much more to gain than to lose," he said after his country’s central bank denied any such plans are being drawn up.

In Rio, the President attended the graduation of some 2,500 military personnel at the Almirante Alexandrino Training Center (CIAA) in Penha, North Zone.

Earlier, in Buenos Aires - where he met with President Mauricio Macri - he had already commented on this new currency . . .
