According to the Minister of Education, Abraham Weintraub, the administration has been organized in order to prioritize what actually works. “The index is expected to increase because we have policies focused on what has an effective scientific impact,” he says.

The platform integrates a number of data on the relevance of the researches produced, such as the academic citations and quality of studies, and allows for comparison between several countries.

According to the institution’s website, the Web of Science “follows a rigorous assessment process, you can be sure that only the most influential, relevant and credible information will be included, allowing you to discover your next great idea more rapidly”.
