Brazil Confirms Another 461 Covid-19 Deaths (October 17th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has confirmed another 461 deaths from complications caused by the novel coronavirus. Consequently, the country has reached the mark of 153,675 deaths caused by Covid-19 since the first case of the disease was registered in the country in late February this year.

The figures are included in the Ministry of Health's daily update released October 17th. The report reflects the data recorded over a period of 24 hours by the state Health Secretariats.

According to the portfolio, another 24,062 positive diagnoses were registered in the period, raising the total of confirmed . . .
