RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian agribusiness exported US$6.47 billion in February this year, which represents a 2.8% increase compared to the same month last year (US$6.29 billion). Imports of agricultural products totaled US$1.22 billion (+14.9%), therefore, the balance reached US$5.22 billion.
Foreign sales of the other products that Brazil exports rose 4.5%. With this higher increase in other products, the share of agribusiness in Brazilian exports dropped from 40.3% (February, 2020) to 39.9%.
