Brazil extradites Argentine golfer Angel Cabrera, accused of macho violence

Angel "Pato" Cabrera, 51, was arrested last January 14 in the neighborhood of Leblon, in the south zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, for allegedly assaulting and threatening two of his ex-wives and on account of an international arrest warrant from Interpol.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Brazilian government concluded on Tuesday the extradition of Argentine golfer Angel Cabrera, arrested in Rio de Janeiro last January on macho violence/assault charges against his ex-wives.

The Brazilian Federal Police also handed over to Argentine authorities another 42-year-old man imprisoned in the country since 2019 for an alleged crime of femicide, the force said in a statement.
