Brazil Records 200 Coronavirus Cases by Sunday, March 15th

Suspected cases of infection rise to 1,496 nationwide.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health reported on Saturday, March 14th, that the number of confirmed cases of the Covid-19 in Brazil rose from 98 to 121. According to figures updated Sunday afternoon, the number of cases has risen to 200, and 1,913 people are being monitored for suspected new coronavirus infections.

The confirmed cases in Brazil are present in 15 states: São Paulo (136) and Rio de Janeiro (24) have almost three quarters of all confirmed cases. Among the suspected cases, only Amazonas has no cases.
