Brazil Confirms 240 Deaths and 6,836 Covid-19 Cases (April 1st)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Wednesday, April 1st, the Ministry of Health released the most recent national report on Covid-19 cases, a disease caused by the Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus.

The main data are as follows:

240 deaths
6,836 confirmed cases
3.5 percent is the mortality rate

In the previous survey, released on Tuesday, March 31st, Brazil had recorded 201 deaths and 5,717 confirmed cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus.
