Brazil Records 5,017 Coronavirus Deaths; Total Exceeds China’s Figure (April 28th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – There have been 474 additional deaths recorded in the past 24 hours in Brazil. In China, the country where the Covid-19 originated, there were a total of 4,643 deaths, according to official reports.

On Tuesday, April 28th, the Ministry of Health published the most recent report of coronavirus cases in Brazil. The main data are:

5,017 deathsç on Monday, April 28th, there were 4,543; 474 additional deaths in 24 hours, an increase of 10.4 percent;

Brazil has 71,886 confirmed cases, on Monday, April 28th there were 66,501. There were 5,385 more confirmed cases, an 8.1 percent increase; in the past seven days, there were 2,111 deaths.

34,325 cases are being monitored (48 percent); 32,544 people have recovered (45 percent); and 1,156 deaths are under investigation.
