Brazil Sees United Arab Emirates as Gateway to Many Regions, Says Brazilian Ambassador

This weekend, Jair Bolsonaro is talking to the Arab world for the first time in a state visit and begins with the economically increasingly important United Arab Emirates. His next stops will be Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - (Emirates News Agency) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is seen by Brazil as a gateway to the Arab world and Asia, said Luís Lemos Igreja, the Brazilian Ambassador to the UAE. as Abu Dhabi prepares to welcome Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Saturday, October 26th.

"For Brazil, the UAE is a door and entrance to the Arab world [as a whole], especially the Arabian Gulf region and Asia," said Fernando Luís Lemos Igreja.
