RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health released yesterday, April 10th, the updated figures for the novel coronavirus. According to the portfolio, the number of infected at the moment is 19,638.
This represents an increase of 1,781 cases compared to Thursday's release. In addition, the total number of deaths yesterday surpassed 1,000 cases. So far, 1,056 deaths have been recorded due to the disease. The virus mortality rate in Brazil is 5.4 percent.
