RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian green coffee exports reached 3.03 million 60-kg bags in April, a 7.1% drop compared to the same period last year, said the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (CECAFÉ) on Tuesday, referring to the challenge posed by a shortage of containers in the market.
According to the Council, 2.7 million bags of arabica coffee were shipped last month, an 8.3% decrease compared to last year, while the exports of robusta coffee registered a 4.6% increase, to 331,100 bags.
