Brazilian Justice Will Have No Credibility While Lula Remains Imprisoned, European Judges Write

An open letter written by three former presidents of European Superior Courts calls on Brazil's "fellow magistrates of the Federal Supreme Court" to reflect on "the flaws in the lawsuits brought against Lula".

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The document is signed by Tomás Quadra-Salcedo, former president of the Spanish Council of State from 1985 to 1991 and the country's former Minister of Justice, Franco Gallo, who presided over the Italian Constitutional Court in 2013, and Giuseppe Tesauro, who was in charge of the same High Court in 2014.
