Brazilian trade balance has surplus of US$3.02 billion in first two weeks of July

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The trade balance recorded a surplus of US$3.02 billion in the first two weeks of July, reported the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy, on Monday (12). The the amount is the net result of exports of US$8.27 billion and imports of US$5.25 billion in the period. In the year, the trade balance is positive at US$39.75 billion.

The daily average of exports through the second week of July rose 39.9% over the same month last year, to US$1.2 billion. The extractive . . .
