Brazilians deported by the Biden administration to land in Brazil on Friday, May 21

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The U.S. government, under President Biden, will carry out the first mass deportation of illegal Brazilian immigrants this week, CNN analyst Lourival Sant'Anna has confirmed. There will be 106 Brazilians sent on a flight that will arrive in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, this Friday, May 21.

The deportation measure is similar to those carried out during the Trump administration, whose policy was strictly anti-immigration. During his election campaign, the new U.S. president vowed to address undocumented immigrants in a humanitarian manner.
