Brazil’s Condor Group to Halt Advertisements on Globo Network

The Globo affiliiate had aired a report by Jornal Nacional disclosing the testimony of Bolsonaro's condo gatekeeper, indirectly linking the president to the murder of city councilor Marielle Franco.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the statement, Curitiba-based Condor said that it will no longer advertise in the Globo network's national journalism, in programs such as 'Jornal Nacional' (National News) and 'Bom dia Brasil' (Good Morning Brazil).

The Condor Supermarket Network, whose leadership supports President Jair Bolsonaro, announced this week in a press release that it will no longer advertise on Rede Globo.
