Brazil’s Federal Police Regulations Authorize Sale of Four Weapons per Citizen

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Federal Police (PF) yesterday announced that it has formalized the regulations set forth in Decree 9.785, of 2019, which debureaucratizes the possession and carrying of firearms by ordinary citizens in Brazil.

According to the law enforcement body, rulemaking ordinance IN-174, published on August 20th, formalizes the regulations of the decree signed by President Jair Bolsonaro last year.
