Brazil’s GDP Climbs 0.6 Percent in Quarter Ended in August, says FGV

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the sum of all goods and services produced in the country, increased by 0.6 percent in the quarter ended in August this year, as compared to the quarter ended in May.

Compared to the quarter ended in August of last year, however, GDP dropped by 0.3 percent.

Considering only the month of August, the GDP increased 0.9 . . .
